1955 - Bill Haley & the Comets refused an offer to tour outside the country because of a fear of flying.
1970 - Rolling Stone magazine reported that the Dave Clark Five had disbanded.

1983 – Metallica’s "Kill 'em all for one” tour came to an end. The band began their first ever tour on July 27, 1983.
